Flumadine Uses

• This medication is an anti-viral used to prevent and treat infections caused by the flu virus.

Flumadine Directions

• Take flumadine tablet by mouth as directed. Do not increase your dose or take this more often than prescribed. For preventing the flu, this is usually taken once or twice a day. To treat the flu, this is usually given for 5 days. Take this medication for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may result in ineffective treatment.

Flumadine Side Effects

Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Missed Dose of Flumadine

• If you miss a dose of flumadine tablet, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
